DESIGN
The enterprise carries out design activities. This is the development of design, process and other documentation that is necessary to manufacture innovative electric motors, means of their production and other related items. Besides, Sovelmash develops design documentation for the construction of plants where motors will be produced.

ENGINEERING
Sovelmash development engineers develop motors, as well as tooling and equipment for their production. This includes computer modeling using in-house software, prototyping of products. After design and engineering, prototype motors are built and tested.

TECHNOLOGY
The company develops and refines technologies for the production of motors and other products.

DEPARTMENT
The department is engaged in administration of all the processes, patenting, documentation management and building an effective business strategy.

While the D&E is intended to continuously develop new products and improve the existing ones, a plant is an enterprise with fundamentally different tasks aiming at efficient production. Sovelmash will be able to produce small batches of its own products, but it will not be the main source of profit.

There are thousands of plants in the world, and many times fewer D&Es, which are unique enterprises.
