What makes airship construction possible in the XXI century?

3 grudnia 2025

In the 1930s, in the Soviet Union, airships were considered a promising transport solution for supplying the Far North, radio communications, and cargo and passenger transportation. However, the limitations of the technology of the time, as well as disasters—including the crash of the Soviet airship “USSR-V6” in February 1938—prevented airships from gaining wide adoption.

Nevertheless, scientific research and development in aeronautics never ceased. Today, advances in technology have opened up new opportunities: composite materials combine lightness with structural strength, the nonflammable lifting gas helium replaces highly flammable hydrogen, and artificial intelligence systems enhance flight safety.

Maneuverable, environmentally friendly, and safe—modern airships can open a new chapter in aviation and logistics, both in Russia and worldwide.

Become part of a revolutionary technological breakthrough.
