Sovelmash has developed a unique product: the world's first quadcopter powered by induction motors. Now the Moth drone is gearing up to tap into the new market of super-heavy class quadcopters. Dmitriy Duyunov says that Sovelmash holds a lot of meetings with customers and can see that the demand for quadcopters is very high in the agricultural sector. In particular, the Moth drone is much needed by winegrowers in highland areas. It is a cost-effective and much more efficient replacement for tractors and helicopters.

The current Moth model and the one that was presented at the Army-2024 Forum are completely different products. The motors and other components have been improved, and solutions have been developed to ensure the drone's safety.

The Sovelmash D&E will be able to provide customers with a motor, a propeller and a controller of the company's in-house design and production. As soon as the company gets the permit to operate the building, it will be able to start executing orders, and this is a 2025 prospect!
