In March 2020, "Sovelmash" produced the first in-house developed electric motors. Those traction motors were the first in the world to be built from scratch using the "Slavyanka" technology.

At the same time, the motor numbered one from this batch was given to Andrey Lobov's team. After a while, it has been put to good use: it will be installed as a stationary motor on a VIP boat in North Macedonia.

In November last year Andrey Lobov tested an outboard boat motor on Ohrid Lake, which was based on a combined winding motor by ASPP Weihai. We remind you that this company modernises motors under licence by applying the "Slavyanka" technology.

After the tests, a Macedonian business owner asked to make a stationary motor for a VIP-class boat. The engineers of "Resurs" have prepared all the electrics and continue to prepare the rest of the components for the boat motor.

The boat with the first motor by "Sovelmash" is planned to take tourists for a ride on Lake Ohrid as early as this year.
