"Sovelmash" D&E construction

During the public holidays, the construction activities at the "Sovelmash" site continued at a brisk pace.

• The engineering networks, namely ventilation, cooling systems, and electricity, were installed.
• The strapping of the dry cooling towers, which are part of the building's cooling system, was completed. Pressure testing and insulation are next, followed by fencing and a canopy.
• Finishing of the entrance unit and cladding of the entrance from the outside with granite tiles was in progress.
• Installation of the piles that will support part of the fence in the ‘steep’ slope area and the gate started.
• The elevators on the first floor of the office and amenity building got a finished look.
• Casting the foundations for the noise shield supports continued.

Meanwhile, development and preparation for production of the "Sovelmash" products, namely parts of the ordered motor, was underway.
